Directions from San Francisco to the UC Berkeley, Electronic Research Laboratory (ERL)

• From San Francisco cross the BAY BRIDGE and follow the signs to Berkeley/Sacramento, which will put you on I-80 (Eastbay Freeway).
  
  
• Take the UNIVERSITY AVE offramp and veer to the right, at which point you will be heading east-toward the Berkeley Hills.
  
  
• Proceed up UNIVERSITY AVE, about 3 miles, until you reach OXFORD AVE, which deadends into the west side of campus.
  
  
• Make a LEFT on OXFORD STREET at the traffic light (do not take the access road into campus).
  
  
• Proceed along the west side of the campus (through one traffic signal--there is no street on the righthand side, just a campus access road).
  
  
• Then, take a RIGHT onto HEARST AVE. (the first through street to right, there is a traffic lane that cuts the corner to the right, just before the OXFORD-HEARST intersection with a traffic light).
  
  
• Proceed up HEARST ave, to the second stop light, cut the corner to the RIGHT onto GAYLEY ROAD. [Note: Cory Hall is the building located to the right at the corner of Hearst and Gayley.]
  
  
• Proceed south on GAYLEY ROAD a few hundred yards, and take the first RIGHT into the campus. This is EAST GATE entrance.
  
  
• The EAST GATE parking kiosk is located at the stop sign down the hill a few hundred feet into campus.
