The Berkeley DRIVE Lab has its main research focus on these topics:
- Verification of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS),
- (Semi-) Autonomous driving using low-cost sensors, and
- Advanced sensor fusion.

Our current testbed is a fully automated 2008 Ford Escape Hybrid XGV.
