Interested in coming to Berkeley for your Ph.D.? Consider the Micro Autonomous Systems and Technology (MAST) project!

Our group is seeking new members who have interests in:

  • small-scale robotics and embedded systems
  • heterogeneous sensor networks
  • control theory, hybrid dynamical systems theory, optimization, and the theory of stochastic processes.

We have no influence over departmental admissions decisions, so you will need to apply through the usual process.
If you want to learn more and talk to some current Ph.D. students, you are welcome to contact Sam Burden or Andrew Godbehere.
