- Our group has a license for TOMLAB optimization toolbox http://tomopt.com/tomlab/
- Available solvers are TOMLAB base solvers, NPSOL, SNOPT, KNITRO, and so on. Ask CUSG for installation.
Printing
- The official printer guy in 333 Cory is Phoebus Chen. Please notify him when the toner runs out so he can replace the toner.
- Mary Stewart is in charge of the printers in 330 Cory
- If the printers run out of paper, ask Maria Jauregui in 391 Cory for more paper.
- See Jon Sprinkle's printer page on how to set up for printing in 333 Cory.
- For single-sided color printing, you will need to set up
lwc333c2, which is located in 330 Cory.
Plotter
- The robotics lab (330 Cory) has a plotter for printing posters.
- The plotter paper is very expensive. Get permission from CHESS or TRUST admin staff before printing a poster.

- For MATLAB Concurrent Licenses, please see Mary Stewart.
- Currently, the group has purchased 3 copies of MATLAB with the Group License for sensor network research. These licenses allow us to work in the field where there is no network connection (as opposed to the Concurrent License). If you need a MATLAB Group License for your research, please contact Phoebus Chen.
Robotics Cluster
- The robotics cluster hosts an SVN repository, the robotics web page, this wik page, and ??

Local Hard Drive Backups
- Files you put on the network drive (
//coeus) are backed up nightly by CUSG. - If you have a lot of data on your local hard drive, you should back it up periodically. Here is the procedure for Professor Sastry's group.
- Ask Mary Stewart for an external USB hard drive. Specify whether you run Linux or Windows.
- Copy your files to the USB hard drive. Note that external USB hard drives are shared between users. If you are concerned about who can read your files, you should zip up the files and encrypt it with utilities such as ccrypt.
- Give the hard drive back to Mary. It will be locked away and disconnected from the network, until the next time you wish to restore/backup your files.
SVN repository
Currently, an SVN repository is set up for the NEST project (now finished) to hold code, data, documents, presentations, and multimedia files. It is VERY BIG, several hundred megabytes. Therefore, it is suggested that you find the subdirectories which you wish to download through the web interface before proceeding.
- SVN NEST repository web interface
- Use LDAP login and password. You must be in the NEST LDAP group.
- Command line:
