Expectations

  • Reserve early. Although we have money to do research, you should reserve your flights early, unless given prerogative through your PI. The difference between reserving a month before you fly and a week before you fly can be hundreds of dollars.
  • Justify choices. Personal activities can often be colocated with business travel. Be prepared to justify why you needed to stay the weekend to your RSO.
