Most of the artwork featured here is made using atleast some part of GIMP.
The cartoons were first sketched on paper, then scanned. GIMP was then used
for such things as sharpening the lines, removing scanned noise, etc. In
all cases, GIMP was used for coloring. In some of the cartoons, GIMP's
patterns came in very handy. The animations were made entirely on the
computer drawn with the mouse. GIMP (the Gnu Image Manipulation Program) is
one of the coolest free-wares that I have ever seen. The image on the left
is a totally fundamental gif. I would really love to know how the people
made this. there are so many things in it I cant do. for one, all that
shading looks hard. and then how did they get the perspective on the cover
text so nicely?
