There are many more to come. Each week, I plan to do some sort of art-work for my home-page and put it up. Lets see..
First a brief introduction to 5HOLMESP (with the P silent when pronounced as in ... duh! i'll tell you later), which stands for Hostel 5 Mechanical Engineering Students Parivaar. This society was founded in 1999 with 6 members. There is no exact record of how this extremely elite society came to be formed. There are reasons to beleive that the idea may have germinated in Kakkar or Khare's fertile and jobless brain. In alphabetical order the members are:

Kakkar and me. Kakkar is the original chocolate boy. As he says, females ``grow in and out of him''. A singularly esoteric concept. But he is a faithful person. (with every one of his girls). Here we see him engaged in his favourite past-time, picking through his collection. :) Presently working in TATA-Autocomp, where he insists that he manages to put some work amidst large quantities of females. Ha!

Khare and Niraj. Khare manages to look so cute sometimes that we managed to convince a significant portion of the hostel that his mother is from russia. a quiet fighter, he has atlast gotten a job which he likes and deserves. Niraj, the pagla of the hostel is one of the few people who will call you to share his break-fast. which earned him the nick-name "maa". of course sometimes he likes to sing.

Randhawa and Sathyan. Randhawa, the biggest and the most soft-spoken surd around. He has a unique manner of walking which has earned him the nick-name, wobbler. We see him engaged in one of his (former) pet hobbies, collecting Yantriki prizes. Pathyan, the angry young man of the hostel can sometimes be very unpredictable. At such times, its best to avoid a confrontation. Such times include immediately after waking, before sleeping and most of the time in between. And do NOT dare to wake him up if hes sleeping. He has meandered through quite a bit of ME before hitting upon IE/OR at Gatech.

Goyelu(Kunti Maa): As already mentioned, Niraj got this nickname because he is one of the very few persons who would actually go all the way to maddu mess (quite far from the hostel) and actually get some dosas which he would then share with the rest of us. Always grateful, we promptly nicknamed him "maa" (mother).
Matkan (Yudhistir): Once Nirgo was nicknamed Maa, others quickly followed. Sathyan was taking a course called something like "Proffesional Ethics" during his last year, which got him this nickname.
Randhawa (Bhim): Obvious when you see him :)
Dukkar (Arjun) When his parents were funny enough to name him "Arjun", we obviously had to use the opportunity.
Khare ((Nakul + Sahadev)/2): Unfortunately for the both of us (Khare and me), we didnt have any special mahabharata characteristics. Since there were only 2 pandavas left anyway, we decided to take the names. Since there was no point in differentiating, each of us became the average. we were called "n s by 2" for short.
